Suspension settings: supermoto vs sport bike?
I just bought 690 SMCR (well, GasGas SM 700, to be precise - to replace my MT10SP) and I set the suspension to sport (or even slightly harder, than sport, since at 195cm I weigh 105kg with gear). I come from MT10SP, where I am used to riding on hard settings and having little dive in the forks. Same for my Norden 901 on the street.
However, I was wondering that maybe supermotos should be set differently than sport bikes, and they are supposed to have a larger dive in the fork to make it steer properly in the turn.
So how is it, in the end?
