Wall remote not working despite having power

I have a Chamberlain 1D7675 that works from the unit but doesn’t work from the wall. I also have a Meross smart opener that’s programmed to control it as well, which also still works.

I verified with a power tester that the remote still has power. But it has no light at all and doesn’t work. I also ordered an exact replacement but it has the same behavior.

I tried touching the white and red wires to trip the close but nothing happened. Does that mean there’s a wiring issue even though the tester shows power?
