3200 MHz CL 16 ram or 3600 MHz CL 18 ram ?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently building a gaming PC with a Ryzen 5 5600 and RX 6750 XT, and I’m trying to decide between two RAM options:

32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz CL18

32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz CL16

My main focus is gaming, and I’m wondering which of these would give better performance overall. I know that the 3600MHz RAM has a higher frequency but also looser timings compared to the 3200MHz CL16.

Does the higher frequency make a noticeable difference in games with this setup, or would the lower CAS latency on the 3200MHz be better? Any advice or personal experiences would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
