Customers and cell phones

PSA: put your damn phone down before you come to check out. It is so rude. You say hi and nothing then you hear them speak and not sure if they are talking to you. I tell them the total, they give me the money and when I ask if they want a receipt I finally get some sort of acknowledgment.
