Question About Zdarsky's 2 in 1 and Slott's FF

So when do the FF reunite? I recently re-read both runs and I'm kinda confused. Reed and Sue pop back up in the last arc of 2 in 1 but in Slott's run it sounds like Ben is trying to convince Johnny that they're gone. Did I misread something?
