NBA Cup/City Jerseys idea

So I’m sure most people have seen the leaked City Jerseys, I personally was a bit underwhelmed and have seen a lot of folks online agree.

Instead of Nike designing a new jersey every year, why not have the fans vote on their favorite Retro Jersey?

So every fan ban base could select from maybe 4 retro/classic jerseys for their team and Nike can make whatever updates they’d like. I.e Jerseys from time periods with short shorts get new modern shorts.

They could hold the vote in the dead period of the off season to drive more fan engagement during a time people aren’t paying as much attention and I’d think retro designs might bring in more sales as they age a bit better than the current jerseys that only stick for a year.

Just a thought but I was curious if people thought it’d be cool.
