The only thing I still don’t understand about the story?

How did Murder Mill end up in theatres if the group all separated the film strips? In the 2024 timeline we see that the full movie summons Frank Stone but there’s no mention of that happening in the theatres either. If this is some alternate timeline storyline that I didn’t pick up on please let me know lol!
