Starship troopers pacing ?

1st time reading/listening and I've had this pre ordered for years now, wondering if anyone else feels like the pacing is faster than other Bray narrations ?

I'm trying to like it, I love R.C Bray, but I feel like I'm being rushed and I'm not loving that.
