Few questions regarding O-1 visa

Hey everyone,

For context, I'm from Australia and I used to have a P1 visa in 2017 and started my O-1 application but stopped. I work as a filmmaker and at the time obtained my P1 for doing documentary work and music videos for record labels in LA.

I now live in Canada as a permanent resident and considering going for my O-1 again. I believe I can still obtain this through my old ways as I'm still a filmmaker and would be considered "extraordinary talent" for that.

My question is, if I get it with film, do I have to stick with that job? My last employer was a company that's setup to allow me to work freely as a freelancer so I'm not stuck with one employer if that makes sense. But I also am a standup comedian and my main question is could I perform as a comedian under my O-1, or would that have to be a separate employer?

Part of me thinks it's okay because it all falls under the umbrella of film and entertainment, seeing as I also film my sets, but I wanna make sure I'm not taking any risks by doing so.
