Should i go to my brother's party?

I'm going to be 18(f) this week and my brother is organizing a party at a local club (we share our birth day). I've never been to a club or party and even though curious, I'm not keen on going.

The problem is that, my mom really wants me to go and my brother sort of agrees with her, both are pretty much party animal. My mom was a wild one when younger so she truly belives that this is an opportunity i shouldn't miss and that I’ll enjoy it and i'm afraid I'll regret not going.

I broke up with my bestfriend a couple months ago and since then, i kinda just stay at home. She was the last person i kept in contact with from my privious school friends and without a friend or someone, i don't see myself having fun at a party.

A bunch of my brother's friends from school and childhood friends are going to be there. I don't like his school friends, they are obnoxious and arrogant with 0 respect to women and his childhood friends i'm not so close with anymore, although i used to be apart of their friends group.

A year ago, i went out with them on a vacation and it was nice but i couldn’t shrug this constant feeling that i was a stranger between them.

I dont want to feel like that at the party, you know?

I also don't like alcohol, so i'm not going for that. (Were I live the minimum age to drink is 18 but most kids have tried it younger, people don't really care here)

So, i dont know, most things point to no but my mom's voice keeps replaying in my mind saying "you'll regret it. It'll be fun. Your only young once"

What should i do?
