What is brewing at CytoDyn?

Dear Longs,

My God, CYDY has been flush with releasing positive news lately but I am still waiting for the inevitable non-dilutive partnership/Licensing deal. For CYDY to escape the repressive trading pattern that has held us at .15 cents CYDY needs a blowout PR. IMO, that is going to be an announcement of a partnership or licensing deal in MASH.

I posted recently on Stocktwits about how it feels like the table is set for a non-dilutive moment we all have been waiting for. I go back to November of 2023 when Dr. JL laid out what he wanted to accomplish as the new CEO of CYDY. He said he was going get things done and he has done exactly that. He has accomplished everything that he has told us about. IMO, the only thing left undone is the non-dilutive event which is a partnership or licensing deal for MASH.

What are the clues:

  1. Numerous times we were told that CYDY had to perform pre-clinical trials to secure a partner in MASH. CYDY has accomplished that with success in mono-therapy with LL significantly reducing fibrosis. The one element we have not heard of yet was the combo results between Madrigal's drug and LL. I am speculating here but good or bad results are being withheld for Madrigal's sake. Whether the results in the combo phase of the mice trials are bad, neutral, or good; Madrigal has to make the biggest decision; because one thing was VERY CLEAR and that is LL KICKED ASS!

  2. Tyler Blok in the 10K missed one of his MBO's which was securing a partnership. As we all know the 10K represents annual business ending on May 31, 2024. Then suddenly in October 2024 Tyler Blok was promoted to CLO (Chief Legal Officer). In my 33 years, I have never heard of a CLO. Why in God's name is Tyler Blok promoted to a CLO position? I can't think of one reason. Sorry Tyler, but in my book unless you get a partnership done and it results in non-dilutive funding for CYDY to operate without having to issue more shares. Even if you accomplish this task you don't get a fluffy title of CLO. Because I think the title is all fluff; it leads me to think he won't be around much longer because something bigger is on the horizon like a buyout. BUT and I mean BUT

  3. the announcement of Dr. Max Latailade as Sr. VP and Head of Clinical Development. But as a consultant. No way we hire this guy with his appropriate experience to get bought out tomorrow. He has the perfect resume to manage ongoing clinical trials and oversee Syneos (CYDY"s CRO). Most importantly he understands how to manage multiple BP's and direct ViiV to success. Think about having to manage the direction of HIV commercial and clinical operations at ViiV plus balance it out with GSK 85% owner, Pfizer 15% owner and Shoengi (Distributor in Japan). Dr. JL has collaborated with Max for over ten years. Max has a strong background with Longer-acting drugs and I think this is playing a much greater role than what I originally thought it would. IMO, he is coming on to help build the value of longer-acting LL until such time that we get bought out

  4. This is the most important point of my post. CYDY has a lot going on and CYDY has never stated what their long-term intention is. Do they plan on bringing one indication to full FDA approval? If they did they need $4.1 million to file the BLA and before we even think of a BLA; CYDY would need a boatload of money to run one or two phase three trials, with one of the trials being a pivotal trial. I do not see CYDY making any noise in this regard. I just don't see CYDY trying to go down the road of FDA approval. If they truly were going to try and get FDA approval they would narrow their focus down to one maybe two indications, but every time we wake up in the morning we learn about another indication that is being added to the CYDY tool belt. Dr. JL knows that CYDY does not have the resources to go through an FDA approval process. Therefore, he decided to go wide and illustrate to the Pharmaceutical community what WE ALL KNOW TO BE TRUE! LERONLIMAB is a PLATFORM DRUG. it will be better than Keytruda and it will be better than HUMIRA. Max is here in a consulting role to help handle the multiple indications CYDY has going on and to help with the Long-ACTING LL.

So what are we waiting for? Dr. JL and the BoD know how much CYDY is worth and they are working on illustrating that value. What is that value? I am only speculating but if Dr. JL and the BoD think CYDY is worth $20 Billion or $25-$33 Billion they have to get a partner in MASH to fund the final two trials of Inflammation and MSS-CRC trials, plus finish the development of Long Acting LL and do maybe one human trial with Long-Acting LL. That plays out to me at the soonest Q4 2025/Q1 2026, and that is if they get their ass in gear and finalize a formula for long-acting LL and secure the non-dilutive funding to perform the human trial for long-acting LL. Fully developed Long-Acting LL gets us to the $25-$33 Billion range combined with finishing the inflammation and CRC trials versus $20 Billion for not a fully developed Long-Acting LL but still working on it and finished inflammation/CRC trials.

In the end, to achieve these valuations we need a non-dilutive partner in MASH to help us finish the development of Long Acting LL, finish the two trials and BOOOOOOM we get bought for $25-$33 Billion. Don't forget that Prometheus was bought for $10.9 Billion for one indication (IBS) after only a phase two study. Dr. JL is clearly showing how versatile LL is and it is truly a PLATFORM DRUG!
