Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Dolphin VR Setup Guide)

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Dolphin VR Setup Guide):

How to fix items not scanning and settings:

In Dolphin VR, I've always ran into a glitch while playing Metroid Prime 2 where items wouldn't scan. So, to fix this apply these settings:

Go into Graphics/Hacks

In EFB Copies Have these settings:

Disable (unchecked)

Remove Blank EFB Copy Box (checked)

Texture (unchecked)

Ram (checked)

External Frame Buffer XFB

Disable (checked)

Virtual (checked)

Real (unchecked)

Hide Object Codes to fix blurry Dome and Morph Ball:

$HideDomeRefraction

128bits:0x000000004478C000:0x0000000000000000

$MorphBallInDome

128bits:0x000000004478C000:0xBF80000000000000

Fixing Slowdown:

Also, Within Dolphin VR, and found in Config/Advanced put CPU Clock Override to 54% to fix the slowdown, at least on my computer. Or just up the increments slowly until it works for you.

Fixing the Camera if it gets messed up:

With the game running or not running (I think when the game is running) try going into VR settings (the eye icon) then the VR Game tab. Go down to the bottom and hit 'Reset to Default'. This should revert any camera settings back to default. If you completely close out of Dolphin VR and if it asks you to save settings say yes. Re-enter the game afterwards. Also, if you need to recenter the screen you need to use 'Freelook reset' found in Options/Hotkey settings. Just set freelook reset to your spacebar or something. Hit it to recenter the camera.

If these options don't work go to VR settings again and make sure Roll, Pitch, and Yaw are unchecked. Also, Go into VR settings, VR Game tab, and make sure at the bottom left-hand corner 'Read Camera Angles' is turned off.

If none of these things work, The only thing I can think of is to manually bring the pause menu into view with the freelook camera up, down, left right. Until it's centered. Set the keys in the Hotkey settings.
