Jimmy lyric

There is a line in the song Jimmy I have often wondered about. The lyrics submitted to the toolshed website indicate that the line is, "Opening me within a gesture".

But when I listen to the song, I swear that Maynard sings, "Opening me with inner gestures".

Does this open up any interpretations of the song that may not be apparent by simply reading the lyrics sheet?
