i’d love to see a tattoo video

Not necessarily one of the three main getting a tattoo, but the origins of tattooing and how it has evolved would be fascinating to learn about - specifically how their cultural significance and perception has changed over time. How did they go from something that was symbolic as a rite of passage, to become something that is so normal in many western societies?
