###National Borders of Chroma Throughout History

Part I: Periopolan Strength

As far back as Chroma history can remember, this was the map of the entire continent [click to view]. Back then, Chroma was divided upon 7 nations: the Holy Periopolan Kingdom, Pervinca, the Empire of Daja, the Kingdom of Noranie, the Kingdom of New Persia, Vermillia, and Orangered.

Holy Periopolan Kingdom

The Holy Periopolan Kingdom was one of the two major nations at its time, and the most powerful nation overall because of its natural resources. The Holy Periopolan Kingdom - an English-speaking nation - was known for its large quantity of blue-coloured minerals, such as Amethyst in the north, Sapphire in the centre, and Lapis Lazuli to the east. These minerals were often used to decorate buildings, making the kingdom richer than any other of its time.

Pervinca

During these times, Pervinca - an English-speaking nation - was still a weakly populated nation. Despite having a large territorial land, they had about as many people as a small neighbourhood in southern Oraistedearg. For a long amount of time, Pervinca had a constant decline in population from people emigrating to the Holy Periopolan Kingdom, but there were still many who stayed for Pervinca's peacefulness.

Empire of Daja

The Empire of Daja was yet another English-Speaking nation. The nation and its citizens remained isolated from the rest of Chroma for the most part, staying populated near the south-eastern shores. Those living in the north, however, are stereotyped as extremely tough, wild, and bear-like. Living in modern-day Midnight Marsh, these men lived in harsh, dark environments, always in risk of being killed by wildlife. With this near their border, no outsiders ever bothered the Dajan nation for a very long time.

Royaume de Noranie

The Kingdom of Noranie was a French-speaking nation, and the other major nation of Chroma at its time. Although being a poor nation, all its citizens were proud of their heritage, and had a strong rivalry against the Holy Periopolan Kingdom. The Norans often attempted to raid them in order to aquire their mineral resources. Although they have been able to return with Periopolan treasure, they were yet to take territory from them.

Reino de Novum Persarum

The Kingdom of New Persia was a Latin-speaking nation, with heavy Persian cultural influences. The Persian language was adopted as the second official language of the kingdom in order to enhance Persian culture. From time to time, there were natively Persian-speaking kings who stepped up into the throne, but they were often immediately followed by a Latin-speaking king.

Vermillia

Despite its size, Vermillia - an English-speaking nation - had a relatively high number of citizens. For the time being, however, not much would occur within Vermillia.

Oraistedearg

Orangered was an Irish-speaking nation. It is thought that even before these times, they were in one nation with Vermillia, due to the nations' names meaning similar colours. It is thought that the foundation of New Persia was what separated their English-speaking tribes of the south from their Irish-speaking tribes in the north. None of this, however, is certain.
