[ToMT] Investigating a Zombie Rave TV Episode?

This was a scifi TV series circa 1998-2001, best I can place it. I originally thought it might have been the Chronicle, but even after going through all the episodes nothing matched what I was looking for. Its not an X-Files episode either. The main characters were all either reporters for some kind of paranormal newspaper (hence why I thought it was The Chronicle originally) or they were investigators of the same.

In this particular episode they were at an underground rave checking up on rumors of missing persons. It turned out the core of the rave were in actuality some type of vampire or zombie, and they had to kill the king zombie to stop the horde.
