Crono Studio 101 XLR BK to PC, high pitch noise, white noise, silent input

Hi I bought a Crono Studio 101 XLR BK microphone, and a usb to female cable to connect it to my pc
When i connected it, it was very silent
So Ive installed Equalizer APO, to boost it. but when \I boost it I got high pitch noise, and some white noise. To filter out the high pitch noise i have to flatten the curve so much it sounds strange
Can somebody recomend me any fix, or shoudl i return it?
