Wouldn’t you be the ONLY person who would be safe in a time travel scenario?
I was just thinking about this.
You are the only person in a time travel scenario who is truly safe because you have a safety net. The Grandfather Paradox saves you.
You can never make a choice that makes you non-existent because the second you do you no longer did.
You can mess with anything in the time you went back to, and no matter what, if the action that would’ve changed your ability to exist ever happened it didn’t.
Worst case scenario you’re just not able to do something because your own existence stops you from doing it.
You kill Hitler, but that means you’re never born, which means Hitler never dies. Assuming you’d just pop back in due to time shenanigans, worst case scenario you just have to live in a world where all the Hitler shit happened, and then you were born.
Am I just an idiot, or does this mean you’re technically the only person who is truly safe in a time travel scenario (minus the people that need to exist for you to exist)?
