Whenever I watch the series with a friend for their first time, I make sure to subtly position myself so I can watch their face during this reveal. Never disappoints.

I found the ending of this episode hilarious. What appeared legitimate was really another Cylon plot to do, well, I don't know how much that news story helped them.

I thibk the news story was actually legitimate. It helps maintain their cover, and it lets them get a close look at the Galactica and her crew. The footage of Sharon was just a happenstance they managed to take advantage of.
