Madone Gen 8, hitting front tire with foot?

I'm itching to pull the trigger on one of these Gen 8's but watching this review of it... The guy is showing how his feet hit the front tire when turning?

I can't imagine a fault like this would not have been caught in testing?

Has anyone else experienced this as well?
