Art careers after university?

Hello, I hope this is appropriate for this subreddit. I’m just over half way through a bachelors in fine art, and I keep seeing posts everywhere talking about how impossible it is to use an arts degree, and even art in general, for a career.

I was just wondering if anyone has any nicer and uplifting stories about their art careers? Maybe possible options to consider for the future? I just get worried that I’ve signed myself up for something that I’ll never be able to gain a “”real job”” from. Very sorry if this seems doomer-ish. I’m trying to look for advice/anecdotes to get me out of that headspace.
