Trying to understand why durk did (allegedly) what he did

So from what I understand about the King Von- Quando situation. It sounds like Von was the aggressor. Lul Tim shot Von defending his friend. That’s why he got away with it in the eyes of the law. Quando wasn’t the one who pulled the trigger so why would Durk want to go after him? Lul Tim was just protecting his boy from an unprovoked attack so he doesn’t deserve any “get back” either. I understand Durk lost his brother and is upset about it, but it doesn’t seem like anyone is at fault for Vons death other than Von himself.
