How is this possible?!?

Can someone please explain how the crew in the Academy and Super Weapon teleport around the ship?!? I see the new teleport beacons, but how does that AI work? Conjoint Archon in the Academy is suddenly in the Booster! And has anyone ever seen a Laser Blaster fire that fast?!? Is this just typical endgame play? Stacked crew boosting Booster and Lasers?
