My first appointment

So what should I expect for my first hrt appointment. I finally made one for the 30th of this month. I live in md btw. If anyone has been through the process here what is it like. Do I walk out with hrt that day or do I need blood work and all that jazz first. If anyone has any insite that would be cool.
