I prefer not to let my cat roam around me when sleeping but he keeps meowing if I close my bedroom

I don't know about others but am not comfortable letting my cat jump on me, walk over me and love-biting my legs while I'm sleeping.

SonI shut the door of my bedroom but then the cat start meowing non stop for me to open the door.

How to deal with this?
