Need help choosing between Chicago and Durnham, NC. Moving from Seattle. Tired of extreme leftist policies and lawlessness. We're political moderates who prefer cities. Grew up in Brooklyn. Lived in Houston 10 years.

Lived in Houston 10 years w/ family. Loved it. Moved to Seattle. 3 years. Hate it! Extremely far left politics not apparent in other democratic cities like Houston and even Brooklyn where I grew up. Homeless, crime everywhere, lawlessness, refusal for common sense policies push us out. Still love cities. But want common sense, affordability, culture. Thinking between Chicago & Durnham, NC. We split votes Harris for pres, and moderate republicans locally. We're centrists. Which would suit us?
