anxiety or intuition
I’m not sure how to start this, but I’ll try to keep it short. Ever since I was little, I’ve always been convinced that I wouldn’t live long—I never thought I’d make it to 2020 or 2030. In 2020, this fear almost came true when I suffered a severe skull fracture with low odds of survival, and I still deal with the consequences of that injury.
Even now, I strongly believe that my life will be cut short. The fact that my fear of not making it past 2020 nearly came true only adds to that belief. Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about moving to a city far from where I live for college next year. For some reason, I have a strong feeling that I’ll be in a car accident on the way there and that this time, I won’t survive.
It’s not just fear—it’s an overwhelming sense that I don’t have much time left. If anyone else has experienced something like this or understands why I might feel this way, please let me know. Is this anxiety, intuition, or something else? Any insight would be appreciated.
