Intense Semi-Lucid Nightmare, One that Affected Senses in a Way I have Never felt before
Never had a dream like this, where it affected my senses in the dream like this.
I was on a beach in the gulf coast, and off shore I could see some large factory looking structure. It was similar to an oil and gas rig, but my brain drew it like a giant coal plant.
I remember thinking, "I wonder if it will explode like the deep-water horizon." As soon as I finished thinking that, a giant column of white water shot up as if a nuclear bomb exploded under the ocean, and the structure disappear in a fireball. I could see the shock-wave moving across the ocean and I covered my ears as it approached.
When it hit me I was thrown back and became totally deaf apart from painful ringing in my ears. I remember it hurt and I was terrified that my hearing was gone forever.
The dream characters around me were all dead and I was looking for my little sister.
Then I woke up and I remember how shocking it was to have the pain/ringing in my ears just stop.
It was semi-lucid because I seem to have caused the explosion with my suggestion, but I have never had a lucid dream turn into such a violent and vivid nightmare before.
Note* Its interesting to point out but all the stuff in my dream was an amalgamation of real places I have been.
This is the factory thing, it was a real building in Barcelona.
