When the Moon Hatched - Questions/Spoilers

I’ve just finished it & can’t tell whether I loved or hated it. I don’t know whether the writing style caused me to zone out & miss things or whether they were never explained. I have questions;

1. What is a fire lark?

2. Why doesn’t the FMC want anyone to see her mending runes?

3. How did she die in the first place? It mentions she was stabbed but that wasn’t what people were led to believe at the time?

4. Was she in the fighting pits after she was resurrected? Did she come back to life when her dragon moon fell & was she captured by the scavenger king/put in the pits at this point? How did she escape them? Is this where the rebel group found her?

I feel like I’m missing pieces of the story that seem to be referenced throughout & I couldn’t immerse myself properly with my mind drawing a blank every time a fire lark or dragonsight/mending runes were mentioned 😂🤦🏻‍♀️
