do students actually dislike reading and writing in stem classes?

hi everyone! i'm adding on to the ton of surveys being sent out right now.

I often hear that stem students, especially sbu stem students (rip) dislike reading and writing coursework, especially in their stem classes. I've actually heard this from stem professors too, yikes, and i'm wondering what the general student consensus is. like, is that a fair representation?

since people are choosing/have already chosen their classes, did reading/writing make a huge impact on what classes you took? do you think reading/writing has become more emphasized in stem classes over the years? do you like reading/writing in your stem classes? or could you literally not care less?

I'm expecting mostly stem students to answer, but all input is welcome lol. the survey is composed of like 12 questions, shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes, and is wholly voluntary and anonymous so feel free to be candid.

thanks in advance!
