Based on my current status, my perm is pending as it was filed last nov 23 and my h1b is maxing on mid jan 25 . My company is planning for extension next week for h1b in regular processing as I was traveling before. They have stopped doing premium to reduce costs.. However, I have an option to pay for premium.

My question is ? Is it worth paying for premium for peace of mind and flexibility to travel rather than getting stuck?

Please advice. Current processing time is 3-6 months . Also I will be paying for i140 premium as well in future so it will be almost 6k out of pocket.😭
