Door lock: Nuki, Aqara U200, or something else?

Hey everyone,

I am looking for a smart lock to automatically lock my door with an automation and also be able to unlock it remotely. It should work with Home Assitant. The Nuki (4 or 4 Pro) seems to be an option a lot of people use and it looks like a good option. Now I have also seen the Aqara U200 and wondered if that one might be better? Technically it looks perfect - the price tag is alright, it seems to be more quiet than the Nuki, faster, and even supports Apple Homekey. However, I really don’t want to add a keypad to my door and apparently the lock only works with the keypad.

I could mount the keypad inside, but it takes space and looks bad. Apparently it doesn’t work without the keypad, so I’m not really sure what to do. The Aqara U200 seems perfect with the quiet unlocking and all features, but this is kind of a deal breaker.

Any advice on what to do? I might also consider other smart locks. Here are my requirements:

  • Euro lock
  • Has to be mountable, so no cylinder
  • Can be integrated into HA (without another hub, I have a HomePod and a Zigbee stick)
