Apple Pie Baking - Butter Smoke!?

Making an apple pie for the first time for a birthday, and this pie is causing sooooo much smoke. I have all the windows open and the fans on, and my fire alarm is freaking out. I have a pan in the bottom of the oven to catch any drippings, but there’s so much smoke. Like, I’m worried someone is gonna call the fire department.

What can I do? And is my pie gonna taste like smoke? 😭
