I am writing a essay for my college course on the one sided stories and stereotypes on modern day Satanists, if you were able to sum up the Satanic Temple's beliefs and ideologies into 1 or 2 sentences what would it be?

We were able to choose our own subject on something with a one sided story and out my personal interest in the temple, I chose modern day Satanism. I want to make it easy to digest for somebody who doesn't know about the Tenets but still wants a good opening to what the Satanic Temple means today. I originally thought to put down something related to Being ones own god but I feel that leans too much onto the Church of Satan which isn't a clear representation of modern day Satanists. I'd love to hear it from people much more educated than myself (for my own learning reasons as well) to help me give a good representation of the Satanic Temple.
