I'm in the UK, this just happened

Idk if this is linked to the US election and the general emboldening of the worst men you will ever meet... something like this has never happened before. I'd just left the gym and this tall guy with long hair was walking straight at me. I had my earbuds in and didn't look at him but could feel him looking at me, and I was just like "absolutely fucking not. This shit won't fly here". So I kept walking along my trajectory, straight at him, while not looking at him, it was essentially a game of chicken and we were head on. At the final split second we both pivoted slightly and he walked off literally yelling for god knows how long (couldn't hear what because again, my earbuds were in and I was trying to give the impression that I wasn't paying attention). I love getting under the skin of shitheads like this, I did wonder if his behaviour was related to the normalisation of fascism because this has literally never happened to me before. I hope I ruined his evening.
