Official Transcript of Address by Queen Liara of Aurelith

"My people, my friends - citizens of Aurelith and beyond,

Today, we find ourselves faced with echoes of the past, with voices that would try to turn back the clock and plunge us into old ways, cloaked in darkness and bitterness. The Sons of Sovereignty would have you believe that we have lost our identity, that we have somehow been diminished. But I ask you—do we feel diminished? Do we feel as if our spirits have weakened, or our heritage has been taken from us?

Look around you. Look to your families, your neighbors, your communities. Remember how far we have come together, step by step, year by year, building something new, something bright and true—something that belongs to all of us.

Aurelith is not just a name. It is a promise. A promise of growth, of change, of prosperity that each of us has made real. And you, each and every one of you, have had a hand in shaping this nation. It is not some distant throne or shadowy council that governs Aurelith. It is you, the people, who have taken the reins of your destiny, who have chosen our path forward.

When I first ascended to this throne, I vowed that the people of Aurelith would have a voice, that you would have power not only to live freely but to govern yourselves, to be a part of every choice that shapes this land. And you, my people, have answered that call with courage, with strength, and with an unwavering belief in what we can build together.

Think back on the days before, when your voices were whispers, when your power was stifled beneath the weight of an ancient crown. And look at what you have now—your councils, your laws, your influence over every level of this realm. Aurelith has grown stronger and more vibrant, because of you, because you dared to look to the future rather than clinging to a past that served only a select few.

The Sons of Sovereignty cannot see this progress, nor do they wish to. They look backward, blinded by the faded memories of an age when only the powerful held sway. They seek to drag us back to a time when our voices were silenced, when only a handful dictated our path. They claim that we have lost our independence, but nothing could be further from the truth. Aurelith stands independent, united not by domination but by choice—a choice we made freely, and a choice that has safeguarded our culture and strengthened our resolve.

They say we are not Tselia. But Tselia is in every fiber of Aurelith. Our heritage remains, stronger now than it ever was, no longer hoarded by a few but alive in the hearts of all. Our culture, our history, our pride—it lives in us, renewed and transformed for the better. And we do not need old names and outdated crowns to know who we are.

These insurgents seek to sow fear, to rob us of the peace we have built. But we know who we are. We are the people of Aurelith, a people who have created a nation that is ours in every way. We are a people who are unafraid to move forward, who will not be bound by the chains of a past we have outgrown.

To every citizen of Aurelith, I say this: stand firm in what we have built. Trust in what we have achieved together. Know that the future is ours to make, and it will be brighter than any crown, any title, any shadowed throne of the past.

We will not be turned back. We will not be divided. Aurelith will endure. And together, we will thrive."
