To anyone who is dealing with fallout from going NC.

I’m sorry that your family or friend has been so affected by politics that you had to make the uncomfortable choice to cut them off.

You got this. You can survive with boundaries even if they are uncomfortable to put down at first. Don’t loose yourself and your values from others beliefs. I know love is a complex emotion and I am usually one to extend the olive branch. But I have learned that no contact means out of sight and mind for me, but for my family and friends I am living rent free in their heads. Let them twist in the wind. It’s time to hold them responsible for everything, name and shame is the new game. Good luck everyone.
