Grinding/Squealing Sound when Accelerating

Hey everyone,

I’m dealing with a grinding noise that seems to be coming from the front of my car, possibly from the area between the driver and passenger side or maybe closer to the passenger side. The noise only happens when I accelerate—if I’m just coasting along at speed, it goes away. The noise appears with even the lightest touch on the gas pedal.

It doesn’t get louder or quieter when I turn, so it really seems tied only to pressing the gas. No noise when coasting, nothing related to braking, just when I’m accelerating.

Has anyone else run into this? I saw a post from someone named Mich who had a similar issue but didn’t get any answers. I’m starting to wonder if this could be transmission-related, especially since I hear it on slight downshifts and it’s not impacted by turning or coasting. Would love any insights—thanks in advance!
