Does the game not charge tax?

I was buying the monthly pass earlier, I’m also a new player, and I noticed that it didn’t charge me any tax unlike with genshin it does charge me tax along with the original price. So does this game not charge any tax? I also wanted to connect my zzz account to epic games for the epic games points but it doesn’t show up even when I did download this game thru the epic games launcher. Does anyone know why that is?
