Is this normal, or am i getting burnout?
Hi yall, first time poster so please be gentle, lolol
Ive been in college for about two years already, and until this semester, ive been doing fine. classes have been pretty straightforward, not easy but not hard either. ive felt pretty solid about going into my major up until this semester.
Im currently in bio 2, chem 1, and statistics 1 all at the same time and i HATE IT. im tired all the time, i feel more overwhelmed than i have in years, and ive have impulsive thoughts of just dropping out of college bc i feel so goddamn hopeless. of course, ill never do that, i want a college degree, but im so exhausted with STEM classes im about to change my major to something alternative.
Im not really looking for advice clear-cut? but im just wondering if this is normal for college students. all my classmates seem completely fine with our classes and understand the material perfectly. maybe this is a bit of a weeding-out process like one classmate told me, haha π I just wanted to get some extra opinions, maybe itll help cease the self-deprecating overthinking
Thanks, folks ππ
