Any recommendations for dry eye and (possibly) neuropathic specialists in Sacramento, SF, and the Bay Area?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some advice or recommendations for doctors who specialize in dry eye and possibly neuropathic pain in Sacramento, San Francisco, or the Bay Area. Here's a bit of background on my situation:

1. I was diagnosed with keratoconus about ten years ago and have been wearing RGP lenses without any issues or pain—until I moved to Davis, California, about a year ago.
2. Since moving here, my eyes have become extremely dry, and I now feel pain even without lenses in.
3. My ophthalmologist here diagnosed me with dry eye syndrome, allergic conjunctivitis, and possibly neuropathic pain.
4. I tried scleral lenses as recommended by my doctor, but wearing them made my pain much worse and caused significant redness. My doctor said this reaction is unusual, as scleral lenses are generally supposed to increase comfort and moisture.
5. After a year of treatment here in Davis, I'm feeling hopeless and frustrated. I don’t understand why my doctor hasn’t been able to resolve my symptoms, especially since I never had any pain before moving here.

I'm hoping to find a new eye doctor or dry eye specialist in Sacramento, SF, or the Bay Area who might have a different approach. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
