DFW, TX Flying insect, black & yellow striped like a bee but only looks a little similar to one, not fuzzy at all.

Does not look like a wasp either. About 1 inch, looks similar to a hover fly but is much bigger then what I’m reading online. Any one have any ideas? 😅 I also saw 1-3 and then all the sudden I looked up and saw like 10? I’ve been worried about yellow jackets lately so I’ve been very cautious and this bug is freaking me out. They’re around my chicken coop. I’d love some answers so I can handle the situation
