Joint Checking?

I've seen a few posts years ago about a joint checking account being in the works for wealthfront. I've had an account with wealthfront for the past 7 years and will be getting married soon. Ideally we could keep all our money and savings in this one account with the debit cards, autopay, and a great APY, except the joint account has almost no features other than holding money. You can't do direct deposit or pay bills with routing and account numbers. Is there any chance of this being added soon or do I just have to go to Fidelity, Schwab, or Sofi for my checking account needs?
