Forrest’s voice change over time

Random thought, but I've been listening to some old Surfaces' music and Forrest Frank music lately. It seems like Forrest's voice has improved over time. Idk how to describe it, but used to sound more "rough" and now it sounds pretty crisp. I noticed a change around 2021/2022.

Do you guys feel the same way? What would you attribute that to? Wonder if he focused on some of the technicals, different equipment, or just his pitch etc.
