Add new status records to campaign member status

When ever a campaign member is added to campaign salesforce only lets you add new status option to campaign members manually by creating campaign member status records. Can this be automated in such a way that every time a campaign member is added I should be able to get status field values of my liking. I tried creating a flow to add campaign member status records on creation of campaign but the flow dosent show campaign member status as an object.
