Earpiece call volume low?

Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded from a 15 Pro to a 16 Pro, and the first noticeable difference is the significantly lower earpiece volume when I’m on a call or in a meeting.

I’ve seen a few posts where people are complaining about the sound quality, with some describing it as cracking, flat, or lacking bass. While I’m not entirely sure if this is the same issue, it does sound like the underlying cause is the same.

I find myself constantly adjusting the phone against my ear while speaking, especially in noisy environments, which is becoming quite annoying. It’s worth noting that the same speaker works perfectly fine when I’m watching videos.

Has anyone else noticed this issue? Is it just a few defective devices, or is it a widespread problem?
