Pricing and shopping...difference between Bali and Thailand?

Hi, thinking about heading to Thailand early next year, I am a regular traveller to Bali and wanted to know if the clothes shopping, shoes and bits and pieces are similar pricing to Bali? Obviously I know Bali is full of fakes and there are no shortage of stalls and am wondering if it is similar in Thailand?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
