28F moving from tampa to denver in the middle of winter - recommendations?

i’ve been dreaming of denver ever since i was a kid, and i’m finally making the move in february. as a life-long floridian, i have never lived anywhere with snow and feel generally unprepared for the winter. i’ve been trying to do research but would love any recommendations:

• safest cars for driving in the snow / mountains
• ski / snowboarding gear
• snow boots for casual wear / hiking
• cute but functional clothing brands, jackets, etc.
• anything else that helps you through the winter
