Therapist with social anxiety

Work/School

I don't know why I got into this type of work some days. I'm full of anxiety about social situations from the time I wake up until I go to sleep. I replay situations and things I said to people in my head at night instead of sleeping. When I see 9 people in a day plus coworkers, that makes for a lengthy review of the day. I have worked on it in therapy and am on medication, but I feel like I'm at a high level of stress all of the time which is uncomfortable to say the least. I want to run out of the building screaming at least once daily because of the stress and pressure. I can't afford to go part time and I already see the minimum number of clients allowed in a week. I think sometimes they can tell but usually not. Some even seem to see me as a calm presence. I know my environment and the severity of my cases have a lot to do with it but it seems like it won't be more relaxed elsewhere. Any other mental health professionals who struggle with social anxiety?
