PSA - Disable Game Mode

In the past few days (since installing v88), the game had become almost unplayable for me on iOS. My screen would freeze during most hunts, sometimes jumping forward in time a few seconds before freezing again. The entire game experience had become a choppy mess. I tried everything from closing all background apps to reducing the graphics quality to downloading assets. Nothing made a difference, but then I saw on the Niantic support site that the iPhone's "Game Mode" feature was known to cause issues. Disabling game mode solved all of my problems. I just wanted to post here in case anyone else was having the same problems with v88.
